Obtained manufacturing and sale approval in Japan for absorbent bone regenerated material, “ReBOSSIS-J”
ORTHOREBIRTH are pleased to announce that cotton-shaped artificial bone filler, ReBOSSIS-J (absorbent bone regenerated material) has been approved for manufacture and sale in Japan as a Class IV medical device on March 29, 2021.
ReBOSSIS-J is used to compensate for damage caused by injury, trauma, or to treat diseases such as cancer. It is mainly composed of β-TCP, and PLGA, and is characterized by its excellent body absorption and cotton-like shape.
Regarding the sale approval of the ReBOSSIS series, ORTHOREBIRTH obtained FDA approval in the US first time in October 2014, and in Taiwan in February 2020, in India in March 2020, and in Japan this time.
