Joint R&D with Theradaptive Inc. is underway for Practicalizing BMP Formulation.

ORTHOREBIRTH is currently conducting a joint development with Theradaptive Inc. (USA) aiming to practicalize BMP formulation. By fusing Theradaptive’s special protein technology with ORTHOREBIRTH’s cottony-type artificial bone-void-filling material, both companies have been trying to create innovative composite materials which promote the regeneration of bones.
The BMP formulation would be useful in the treatment of larger-sized bone defects than now.
In our research stages, we have got satisfactory results, followed by current experiments on animals to test this formulation.
Theradaptive Inc. is a medical device maker established by researchers of MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in 2014. They actively conducts R&Ds of various types including bone-void-filling materials, the regeneration of cartilage, that of peripheral nerves and so on.
Theradaptive Inc. has got highly evaluated for some of its researches and got subsidized by US Government.
ORTHOREBIRTH is going to actively promote the joint development with Theradaptive Inc. further from now on, aiming to further speed up the researches in the field of regenerative medicine.
